WHAT is the Christian Fencers Association?
The Christian Fencers Association (CFA) is a completely voluntary grassroots non-denominational fellowship of Christians united to encourage good fellowship, good sportsmanship and good deeds throughout the fencing community and the world at large. All ages and races of CFA fencers can be found in the U.S. and the world.

Simply put, the CFA is a way that fencers who are Christians can show and tell other people about our faith. We do that in a variety of ways; wearing our t-shirts to tournaments, conducting fencing demonstrations, doing free fencing camps/lessons for kids and adults who can't pay, exhibiting good sportsmanship and generally helping people anyway we can, including lending a kind ear to problems and praying for their solutions.

We don't have meetings or dues or funding. Involvement is by individual Christians who make something of the CFA to the extent that God's Spirit leads them.

OUR Pledge and Commitment:
We pledge to watch over one another in Christian love; to aid one another in injury and distress; to be exemplary in our conduct both on and off the fencing strip; to express Christian courtesy in speech; to
be slow to anger; to never cheat or knowingly enable others to do so; and to remember one another in prayer.

Furthermore, we pledge to be gracious in victory, honorable in defeat and to always thank God for granting us the physical, mental, and spiritual strength to participate in this noble sport. Above all, we recognize that victory and achievement in fencing or any other human activity is only vanity when compared to the unsurpassed victory achieved for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

OUR Unity and Faith:
We are not united by race, sex, age, denomination, or political agenda. We believe that there is only one God and one Savior for all of humanity, the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe according to the scriptures that Jesus lived a sinless human life; that He died on the cross for our sins; that He was raised back to life and is now alive in heaven and will return someday. Most importantly, we proclaim..."THAT if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9-10)

WHO can participate in the C.F.A.?
Anyone who agrees with the above and that will respect and honor the title "Christian Fencer".  There are no dues or fees. Involvement is completely voluntary.
